How to Reduce Fat in Arms for Women (Spot Reduction)

There is nothing like spot reduction and doing specific exercises for specific body parts thinking that it will help lose fat does not work, you cannot reduce fat from problem areas unless you also reduce overall body fat percentage.

For a well-toned lean body men need to reduce their body fat levels below 15 percent and women below 25 percent which can be done with the help of healthy diet and exercises (which burn more calories)

So spot reduction is a myth and you cannot reduce fat from arms by doing specific exercises however you can definitely spot tone an area by doing specific exercises for it wherein it can help build muscle around the problem area and may make it look shapely (depending how much body fat you have) -

Here are a few exercises that you can do to tone up for arms –

1. Double Hand Tricep Extension
2. Single Arm Tricep Extension
3. Cable Pull Down
4. Bicep Curl
5. Hammer Curl

These exercises can help tone up arms but like I had mentioned before in order to lose fat from specific body parts you need to reduce your overall body fat percentage first….. which is only possible with diet and exercises (which burn more calories like cardio, multi joint exercises etc)
