Dumbbell Squats (video above) is one the best free weight exercises to develop leg muscles.
* You start this exercise by holding couple of dumbbells with a neutral grip.
* Breathe in and lower your body slowly till your thigh muscles are parallel to the floor.
* From here breathe out and come back to the starting position.
Note – At any point of time your knee should not surpass the toes as it will increase the chances of knee injry
