It’s a once in a life time event …err well mostly, so you want to look perfect!
Here are a few ways you can shed that weight fast to fit into that wedding dress you’ve always imagined yourself in.
Working on your metabolism is the goal and mastering it is the key to losing weight. Metabolism is the engine that drives every cell in your body. The fuel needed to run that engine is calories. Keep that tank filled right and you are good to go.
1. Start with the right Breakfast.
So first things first, you will need a Metabolism makeover. You can do this by eating a 300-400 calorie breakfast, this will help you get through the day, for long lasting energy include complex carbohydrate like oatmeal, a glass of amla juice or dried ones which is rich in vit-75 mg an essential element in fat burning. If amla is too unpalatable for you, try having a bowl of papaya instead.
2. Drop the vice until you look nice.
Vices like smoking and drinking are tough to drop and it may seem difficult at first but if you gradually limit yourself you will be getting to your goals faster than you expected.
3. Squeeze a workout
It is not possible to be at the gym 24×7 especially right before your own wedding so squeeze in an exercise whenever possible. For instance take the stairs instead of the elevator that way you get to the floor you want to and you’ll be burning those calories.
4. Sip on that water
Drink as much water as you can this will keep you going through the day without feeling dehydrated and small sips in between your meal will prevent you from overeating.
5. The right Lunch
Eat a protein packed lunch to burn more calories because protein is more difficult to breakdown than carbohydrates or fat, try including vegetables, yogurt in your diet to stimulate better digestion.
6. Dry Fruit it up
Dry Fruits are high in fiber and omega 3 fatty acids which are both natural fat burners that can help boost your metabolism. Dry fruits like almonds & walnuts are good sources of monounsaturated fat, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins & fiber. So the next you want to have a small snack grab a small portion of dry fruit instead.
7. Work it out
Weddings have a deadline so there is no time to skip those exercises. Try out a circuit training program or a condensed workout routine. Personal trainers offer similar condensed workout routines designed to maximize weight loss and visible physical slimming within only a few days of beginning the regimen.
Take up cardio training. While a combination of cardio and resistance training are important for overall body health, cardiovascular training is what will help you shed those pounds quickly.
8. Breathe & Relax
All the stress can be overpowering at times emotionally and physically and this can affect your weight loss goals, so start your day with simple breathing exercises to burst that stress.
9. Beverages
Beverages like coffee is rich in caffeine and is a nerve stimulant that boosts metabolism helping you burn the extra calories, couple of cups of caffeine is a goo idea to help enhance the weight loss process.
10. Dinner
To end it have a light dinner. Start with a soup. Avoid rice for dinner. A dish of chicken or fish or paneer for vegetarians along with steamed vegetables and mixed flour chapati will add up to a balanced light meal.
11. Count those Sheeps.
Sleep is important to a healthy lifestyle and only if you rest will your body be set to start the next day in the same way. Sleep also helps in coping up with the physical and mental stress of the day. So tuck in tight.
So the plans are set! And all you need to do is get going but here are a few you things you must avoid in the process of losing weight fast.
12. Fasting
Do not fast because fasting causes a fall in the circulating glucose, resulting in decreased secretion of insulin. This could be a problem for diabetics and can get you seriously ill.
13. Gastric Disorder
People with acidity, flatulence and a queasy stomach should avoid fasting. But those who are very keen should take precautions like taking antacid with meals prior to fasts.
13. Watch out!!
Watch out for any unnatural symptoms such a blurring vision, headaches, fatigues, palpitations, trmors, anxiety and increased sweating. If any of these surfaces, slow down the workouts and see a doctor immediately.
Here’s to the wedding you’ve always wanted.. Cheers!!!
