How Biscuits Make You Gain Belly Fat
Biscuits/Cookies are on one the worst food items that you can consume to mess up your body composition, which means it leads to high storage of fat around your belly, thigh, arms and butt. The reason I say that is because they are high in empty calories and empty calories easily get stored as body fat, let me explain this to you how –
Commercially made biscuits have tons of refined sugar, white flour, cream, butter and preservatives which have no nutrition and are termed as empty calories. Sugar and white flour create wild fluctuations in your blood sugar level and get stored as body fat while cream and butter on the other hand are anyways high in fat content and also get stored as body fat.
Biscuits are also high in calorie content, something as less as 10 biscuits can easily have 500 empty calories while other varieties which are stuffed with cream and butter (video above) have a lot more calories which again are detrimental from a fat loss perspective.
Even whole wheat biscuits which are being heavily advertised on television claiming that they do not have any white flour are still bad from a fat loss perspective because they are high in sugar and other preservatives which again lead to accumulation of body fat.
I have personally met people who spend hours in the gym trying to lose body fat and although they successful in losing weight but are still stuck with loose flabby stomach, arms, chest and other problem areas.
The point that I am trying to make over here is – if you are really serious about losing body fat, if you really want to have a flat stomach, firm chest, toned legs and a firm butt then you need to focus on your diet. You can spend hours in the gym but if you are not eating healthy it will not make any difference, so clean up your diet, eat healthy and watch your body transform.
