Are You Really Eating Healthy ?

So most of us we think we healthy but the reality is different.I went to the super mart yesterday and my eyes went on a food product which said Diet Murmure (Puffed Rice) . Thinking that it says “Diet” and “Healthy” I picked it up but when i saw the ingredients of the packet it was now where near the word “Diet” or “Healthy”

Let me tell you why —

1. It was loaded with sugar, salt and tons of saturated fat. Consuming excessive amount of sugar, salt and fat is not healthy for the body and is extremely unproductive for anyone who is trying to lose weight or body fat.

2. The calorie content was extremely high and was at par with other fried namkeens which are anyways high in calories. So this packet had 528 Calories/100 grams and when I compared it other high fat fried namkeen they had 600 Calories/100 grams …so not much of a difference.

3. The fat content was 28 grams/100 grams that means out of 528 calories, 252 calories were coming just from fat.

4. And lastly the product was processed.

Overall although it claimed Diet and Healthy but there was nothing healthy in it.Just because a product says diet and healthy does not mean it is really healthy ….Pls read the label before you buy food products especially if your goal is health and weight loss.
